Akuapem Poloo has finally responded to those who questioned her decision to convert to Islam in light of her illustrious past of disputes.
It will be noted that the actress, YouTube sensation, and social media annoyance boldly declared a few days ago that she is now a Muslim and went on to publish pictures of her 'conversion process'.
"Thanks to the Deputy Imam of ASWAJ Ga West and Chief Imam on Nsakina Quran Reciter and his board for supporting in this," Akuapem Poloo said on her Newsfeed after sharing images from her shahada declaration.
She gave an update and explained what had influenced her choice.
"Some are saying am I impressing a man, they didn't let me sleep," Akuapem Poloo remarked. Many calls came from countries other than Ghana. Nobody is impressed by me. Remember that my nine-year-old kid is a Muslim. In 2012, I became pregnant for a Muslim boyfriend, and I delivered birth in 2013. That should convince you that I am competent. Islam is my favorite religion.
I adore Muslims and the Islamic faith since the majority of my friends are Muslims, thus I am not trying to impress anyone. I won't try to impress anybody; the only person I want to please is Allah, she declared.
My Mallam who helped me said I can still maintain my name on social media and keep it as Sexy Poloo but I'll just put my Muslim name to it. I'll make sure to cover myself so I don't flaunt my body too much, but hey this is Sexy Poloo.
\You will witness me act seductive as Beautiful Poloo; I will cover my body with clothing, but my sexy body will still be on display. You detest seeing my cute sexy body, yet I am sexy. My body won't be on display.
Keep in mind that even if I won't be wearing short jeans and other things, I am still sexy," she said.
