Kofi Adoma Nwanwanii, a media figure and the director of news for the Angel Broadcasting Network, is now in the hospital after being attacked by an unidentified group of men near Old Ashongman.
According to reports, the event happened on August 6, 2022, on a Saturday.
According to information received, the assailants crossed Mr. Adoma when he was traveling back from Kuntunse. Mr. Adoma is the CEO of Kofi TV and the anchor of the morning program on Angel FM.
The presenter suffered injuries to his face, arms, and shoulders from the individuals who were on motorcycles and carrying sharp items.According to further accounts, they doused him with what is thought to be petrol before attempting to light him on fire.
Despite the lack of available evidence, some social media users believe the attack on the radio host was an attempt at assassination, while a majority of Ghanaians think it was a robbery.
In the meantime, a picture of Mr. Kofi Adoma in a wheelchair with blood dripping from several wounds is becoming viral on social media.
He can also be seen in the 45-second video with a ripped shirt.
