Reverend Christian Kwabena Andrews, also known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, has angered Prophet Kofi Oduro, another man of God, by calling the latter a witch doctor rather than a preacher.
His criticism comes after Kyiri Abosom publicly admitted to having an affair, which is why his wife decided to end their marriage.Prophet Oduro believed that the arrogance, lack of regret, and shame with which his colleague confessed to sexual immorality in front of the congregation was unworthy of a man of God.
"Put an end to this foolishness and the lunacy that has entered the body of Christ. What kind of nonsense is it for a preacher to stand on a platform and claim that I have fathered a child outside of marriage?
"I'm telling you, that's a shrine, not a church. You are a witch doctor, an astrologer, and a palm reader, not a preacher. The founder and head of Alabaster International Ministries proclaimed to his church, "You are a fetish.He continued by saying that the way Kyiri Abosom went about telling his wife he was divorcing her and boasted about his adultery was disrespectful to both God and the woman's family.
"It is demeaning to the Holy Spirit and to womanhood when a pastor stands in the pulpit to divorce a woman. You took the woman away from her parents, so if you value yourself as a man of God, you will return and offer your drink, according to Prophet Oduro.
He continued by bemoaning the impunity with which Kyiri Abosom and other so-called pastors continue to defame God's name and the negative impact that their actions have on their sizable following.
"Nobody can correct them. I informed you that there are dumb pastors and foolish churches in Ghana, but we are unable to correct them since our laws and those in charge of them lack any moral authority to do so because they share the same madness. They both tumble into a ditch as a result of the blind leading the blind.
"I am telling you that you are not in a church; you are in the lion's den if you attend a place of worship where the pastor can openly indulge in adultery. You can be damned to hell by bad instruction.
In the meantime, Kyiri Abosom has vowed to deal with people who are criticizing him and threatened that those who do so will perish or develop fatal ailments.
