Turkish boy, 10, rescued from the rubble after 100 hours

Four days after an earthquake devastated a major portion of the country's border with Syria, rescuers in southern Turkey pulled a 10-year-old kid from a collapsed home.

In support of the rescue efforts, the Israel Defense Force (IDF) tweeted on Friday.

The youngster received "lifesaving medical treatment during the rescue and was subsequently brought to a hospital for further medical treatment," according to the IDF.

Israel has sent around 380 assistance personnel, including medics, nurses, and doctors, to Turkey as part of a relief effort.

The Israeli soldiers opened a field hospital in Kahramanmaraş on Friday morning.
